Zahínos turns into a fairytale town
The Luis Chamizo school creates a literary route through the municipality and participants can follow 14 stories through QR codes.
"Once upon a time there was a village where a walk could take you to a fairytale...". With this in mind, the Luis Chamizo school has created the project 'Zahinos, la ruta del cuento' (Zahinos, the fairytale route), an initiative with which you can follow a literary route through the town using QR codes. There are 14 key points of location. At each of them you can find a methacrylate plate with a code linked to a tale interpreted by a group of pupils from the school. In addition, a brief description of the story also appears.
The tales, some invented, others modified, have a variety of themes and serve to work on essential values such as companionship, friendship or current issues such as cyber-bullying. The teaching staff also performed one of the stories.
With this project, the school wanted to work on two main objectives. The first is to internalise the different tales within each group using interpretation techniques, oral expression, body language and characterisation, and then record the story using the chroma key.
The second aim of the project has been to publicise the work of the educational centre through the design of a tale route through the town, in which those who follow it can enjoy a healthy cultural alternative in the open air and get to know the town, its most outstanding places, its neighbours and above all the pupils, "who are the seeds of the future of Zahínos".
The entire educational community and some private entities have participated in the design of the story route, which has been carried out in close collaboration with the Town Hall.
